On 26th June 2025, Reserve Forces Day, the Royal Auxiliary Air Force held its annual Remembrance Service at the National Memorial Arboretum. There were over 75 attendees including servoing members of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force together with Force veterans, families and friends. The Service was held in perfect weather at the site of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Memorial,; the Rev’d Dr John Harrison was the officiating Chaplain. The Order of Service can be seen here.


The Remembrance Service was followed by the dedication of of Memorial Stones tor six former members of the Force whosde deaths spanned from April 1945 to April this year. The citations read out for each one can be viewed here.






The Service concluded with the award of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Foundation Centenary Trophy.
