At a moving Service held on 1st February 2024 at in Cathays Park in Cardiff’s Civic Centre, 614 (County of Glamorgan) Squadron planted a flowering cherry tree to mark the centenary of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force and also the 10th anniversary of the Squadron’s reformation. Representatives from the Squadron, the local Reserve Forces and Cadets Association, the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Foundation and members of St Andrew Major’s Church attended. The Rector of the Church blessed the tree and said a prayer for the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.
