RAuxAF Memorial – Centenary Service

A Commemorative Service will be held at 1100 hours on 26 June 2024 at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire. Following welcome refreshments, attendees will assemble at the Royal Auxiliary Air Force Memorial for a Service of Remembrance & Thanksgiving.  During the Service, a plinth will be dedicated which pays tribute to all those who have served in the Force throughout its 100 year history.  Also, Memorial Stones will be dedicated to six deceased members of the Force  including two pilots killed in the Battle of Britain, one pilot who fought in the Battle and continued to serve throughout the war and an Honorary Air Commodore. The Sovereign’s Colour for the RAuxAF will be on parade together with invited guests, veterans, and representatives of current Squadrons.
